Carolina Fonzar: 1/5 Stars 13/06/2019 NEVER EVER AGAIN I wish i could give no star to this company. They had the cheapest fare in Skyscanner, i selected the flight, the dates and the time that i wanted and went to payment. I reviewed the ticket before purchasing it. I did purchase and the confirmation came, with the correct flight, on the correct date but different time. THEY ISSUED THE TICKET IN A TIME THAT I DID NOT CHOOSE! When i realized it, it was too late and the fare did not accept modifications. I have no words to describe how frustrating it was. I lost the money and the flight as they were not suitable at all. Gotogate has not yet responded. Tony Fox: 1/5 Stars 13/09/2018 Overcharged for Bags Booked flight with GOtogate as on Skyscanner they came up as the cheapest flight with Norwegian Air. They charged £138 for 2 bags for which Norwegian would have charge £50. They have also failed to add the bags with the airline so I have had to phone them twice so far to sort out What an awful company scam as they look the cheapest and they rip you off for baggage. Drew Walsh: 1/5 Stars 04/03/2018 NEVER EVER, EVER AGAIN Duped into using Gotogate as slightly cheaper price. Needed check in bag so paid fee to them as always, previously, same price as airline with other flight bookers. NOT SO! Checked booking with KLM and no bag booked but noticed KLM price £33.40 less than charged by Gotogate. Looks like I may be £78 charged by Gotogate out of pocket and having to pay again to the airline. Complained and was told this was how they make money. Also told to contact KLM and sort out myself why the bag was not in the booking. Bad service, over charging and will never use again. Gotogate has not yet responded. Donna Burnett: 1/5 Stars 09/10/2017 GotoGate Issued flight ticket in wrong name I used GoToGate as skyscanner took me to this site. Despite keying in exact details of the website the final booking page showed up the wrong surname and used the middle name of my son for my surname. Despite contacting them immediately, they were useless saying my only option was to cancel the flight - first they said it would cost £125 then later they emailed to say it would be £200. Still no resolution. I know it was their web page that resulted in giving incorrect information. There were 6 'typo' errors in the booking. All apparently my fault... A scam company never to be used again or ever recommended. Shame on Sky Scanner for supporting them. Gotogate has not yet responded. Derek Thompson: 1/5 Stars 17/07/2017 Informed me I had suitcase allowance, but none when I got to check in. Gotogate gates rep had to help me with my booking. Two major queries, Date of birth incorrect on ticket and needed confirmation about suit case allowance. Check with KLM about Luggage 23kg GOTOGATE agreed I had 23kg allowance. Originally GOTOGATE stated that I must check with KLM, found this odd has the ticket selling company should be able to tell me anything about my ticket. Date of Birth, GOTOGATE REP said he had changed the information and sent the details to KLM. During online check in found out that the DOB had not been changed and no information had been sent to KLM. Told by KLM that the ticket GOTOGATE had booked gave men no suit case allowance. If I would have know I would not have bought the ticket, I have to carry certain things in my suitcase because of my disability. Told on 17/ 07/ 2017 by a GOTOGATE rep that I should not talk about this has it not relevant. Mmm a persons disability is not relevant. GOTOGATE Refuses to give me a transcript of the telephone conversation where the rep said I had suitcase allowance. Gotogate has not yet responded.
