Poor service, communication and overcharging.

Complaint against Harris DAF

We are a haulage firm. One of our vehicles developed a fault so we put it into Harris Daf's in Waltham Cross for repair last week. 4 days later we got the vehicle back and over £2000 lighter. Yet the vehicle was not fit to go back on the road and ended up going back into DAF's this week. It is now a further 3 days on and we have been told it will cost us another £1000 to fix the vehicle which should have been repaired last week. Not only that their hourly labour rate last week was £86.50 and 4 days later it's gone up to £87.00 and hour. I complained via email yesterday and got a phone call to say that they were going to look at it but nothing more has been said or done and we've received no more call backs. They also charge a houry rate for the road test, but as we have the vehicles on a tracker we can see when it's been on the road or not, and in this case it's not been on the road on either occasion.
