Complaint against Easirent
Agent refused to honor my CDW even when I produced letter. Tried to force me to buy liability even though I have via my car insurance. I challenged him and told him it was my opinion that your company are scam artists. Nevertheless I agreed to pay the additional costs because I had already paid and didn't want to lose my money. Unfathomably the agent refused to release a car to me because he "...didn't like. my attitude...". When I told him he was violating my consumer rights he shrugged and said he can refuse rental. to anyone he likes. For the record I am a 55 year old female school teacher. I didn't use bad language, make threats or do anything that could possibly justify his actions. I went back to the airport, having waisted an hour and a half and was eventually treated like a customer at Europcar. What a disgrace.
