Complaint against Volkswagen

Hi, I was given a offer from Volkswagen Inchcape on a golf gti, which I proceeded to go through with, I filled in the necessary finance form, and arranged sale of my current car, to then be told at the last minute all of the cars had sold out, and offered an unsatisfactory alternative, in a Diesel engine, when I’m purchasing a petrol, and given the Volkswagen emissions scandal, is a disgraceful alternative not to mention I don’t rate the car at all highly, I still have this quote, and was told delivery would be March, so I’m expecting this deal to be honoured by Volkswagen, as now because of the poor service from this dealership I will be without a car shortly! Their communication was slow, and sales person didn’t really seem to know what they were doing, and have now left me in a difficult situation, by not informing me immediately of the supposed sell out after I had completed the fiancé form and sent it back to them. And with the sales persons telling me delivery would be March, these dealers are really making customers life’s like mine very difficult, unnecessarily, and it needs to be put right! Thank you.
