Complaint against Alamo Rent-A-Car
I hired a car with Alamo from Malaga airport in Spain early August 2015. Unfortunately a 3rd Party reversed into the car causing a small amount of damage to the drivers side front of the car. I got full details for the person including insurance and an accident report was completed which I handed in on my return at Malaga airport. When I returned the car I was charged €220.94 (euros) for the damage but was told once settled between insurance companies this would be refunded and that it should take a couple of weeks. After 2weeks of not hearing anything I contacted Alamo several times and got no response. I have now been chasing this for nearly 2weeks and it is nearly 4 weeks since I returned the car and Alamo still owes me the deposit. I believe they may hope I go away and they keep my money! Terrible customer service.
