Complaint against Evans Halshaw
Appalled by the service we are receiving in the Cardiff dealership! Less than 24hrs after buying a car that'd done less than 20000 miles, the car notified us that the oil was low, the battery was low and the battery on the key fob was low. The day after, we also noticed that the roof was leaking water, Upon purchasing the car- we were told that it had recently received a service and thorough health check(!) Further to this, when we called the dealership (again less than 24 hrs after purchasing the vehicle), we were told that there was nothing they could do for us- despite the vehicle not being in the condition advertised to us. After needing to seek legal advice, umpteen un-returned calls and emails to the manager and contacting the national customer service line (who were very helpful), the dealership eventually agreed to an exchange. Since then, they have tried overcharging us for services, tried charging us for apparent depreciation without telling us, kept us waiting 40 mins after an arranged appointment time, continually contradicted one another and Peter keeps arranging for us to go into store when hes not available. We are currently without a car and out of pocket because the manager has not honored the exchange terms that he agreed with us and delegated to someone else to tell us this!
