Complaint against Vauxhall Motors

Vauxhall Customer Services, UK. 5th January 2016. Dear Sir or Madam, I wish to complain about the failure of my Diesel engine on my four year old Insignia car (R321***) which has only done around 60k miles and has a FSH. I am complaining because I believe as suggested by two garages that the failure has been caused by a common fault. To resolve this problem I would like you to investigate with a view to replacing the engine. When I first learned of this problem, to which the car came to a complete halt on the motorway, I took this vehicle to two established garages and took advice from a Vauxhall trained mechanic who said the engine has just failed and is irreparable. I believe that the cause of the failure is due to mechanical malfunction by design. I would like a written statement explaining your company's position and what you will do about my complaint. I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible to resolve this problem. I have also filed complaints with the appropriate consumer agencies and will consider my legal alternatives.
