Faulty Bluetooth

Complaint against Vauxhall Motors

We had to take our vauxhall in for the safety recall on the heater within the car. The safety was taken place and the dealership found another fault with our Bluetooth. . It had been wired up via the heating system. We brought the car brand new from motorsales Harlow who are a vauxhall franchise and they installed our Bluetooth. 2 and half years later when vauxhall are calling all safiras for a safety check on the heating system our now local dealership in clacton on sea fund the fault where the Bluetooth had been wired up to the heating system. They informed vauxhall and the only options they gave us was 1) to sign a waiver that they will leave it as it is but we are aware of the fault. 2) have the Bluetooth disconnected 3) pay £35 for it to re wired to our battery, where it should have been fitted to in the first place. We told them out of principle that we will not pay the charge as it wasn't our fault and in actual fact the vauxhall dealership has installed it incorrectly and we have been driving around for 2 1/2 years with another serious fault. I don't think I as the car owner should be put in a situation like this when we brought the car brand new from the dealership
