Vauxhall caught fire after recall

Complaint against Vauxhall Motors

after recall works to my Vauxhall Zafira at WJ King in Welling on march 23 my car was sound until around 2 weeks after (April 7) when It then set itself on fire. Thankfully no persons were injured. I contacted WJ King who said it was down to Vauxhall and advised me to contact them direct. Vauxhall would not take any blame and advised me that someone would be out within 2 weeks to inspect the car. i was advised not to move the car (even though i expressed concern on where it was). After many emails Vauxhall finally gave me an inspection date of April 26 (making it nearly 3 weeks to wait for an inspection. on the 21st April the car was taken away by someone (for scrap) something i had raised with Vauxhall as a potential concern. Vauxhalls failure to act within the 2 week time frame given to me played a massive part in my car being taken. Vauxhall now say that because the car cannot be inspected they cannot except that they are at fault. They claim that they cant find the transcript from calls between myself and the customer care team and they have basically washed their hands with me and my case. I'm worried that even after the 2nd recall works the car still caught fire. I am also concerned that it was possibly due to WJ King and they will be fixing many more Vauxhalls which could endanger more people. i have all emails between myself and Vauxhall, also between myself and WJ king. I also have pictures and videos of the incident and the aftermath. I look forward to hearing from you. WIth thanks
