Complaint against One Week Driving
I have had a nightmare with a driving school, I booked an intensive course costing £657.50. I paid £375 to the instructor and the remainder to OWD. This was for 2 days of intensive driving and the cost of the test. They contracted this out to a local instructor. He was late for both lessons and very unprofessional throughout. He advised me my test was on 22nd Dec at Kingswood test centre in Bristol. We used my car at my cost for half the course. He suggested we do this so I could do the test in my car and get my partner to take me. Myself and my partner booked the morning off work on 22nd Dec, when I got there they advised my test was on 2nd of jan so I wasted my time and my partners time. I duly called the instructor, whose name I yet to learn as the OWD or him are yet to tell me it. The instructor refused to sort out the mess so I tried to get a closer date, the confirmation went to his email so I was unaware it was a different test centre and he did not contact me to tell me this. So I showed up and booked more time off and lost more earnings. I had to book another test costing £68. Neither the instructor or the company will help or admit to messing me about. OWD have admitted they don't let customers sort out their own tests. The instructor won't answer the phone to me. I have sent OWD evidence that the instructor has messed up. Basically I haven't got the service I have paid for and I am even more out of pocket now. Everything I have from he instructor references Kingswood and he didn't contact me to make sure I knew the new test was in another location.
