[LAPSED] Being charged for damage I did not do

Complaint against Goldcar

Hired a car for 2 wks, had no problems. (have been driving in Gran Canaria for 20yrs have used Goldcar for maybe 8-10 times with no problems.Handed the car back in the same condition as I received it in. On checking my credit card account back home I found a charge of £334 two days later another charge of £336. I have had no notification by Goldcar at all as to why I am being charged.

Victoria, I have already complained on your website regarding the duplicate charge for damage on my credit card. Under incident numbers 1384881 & 1386432. Oscar.J from your company has replied to incident number 1384881. I have given him details of the duplicate payment by email and also included a copy of my credit card statement & your damage invoice. He has still not replied back after 10days

Victoria, please tell me what the point is of opening a formal complaint on your website when no one replies back. I have supplied detailed emails including credit card statements and invoices to show that your people have duplicated a payment for so called damage. Obviously if a customer supplies decent evidence of mistakes by yourselves you just ignore it and hope they stop bothering you.
