[LAPSED] Charged for damage not caused by me

Complaint against Goldcar

I hired a Mercedes Vito from Goldcar at Valencia Airport. The service was excellent and I returned the car, as instructed, and placed the keys through a safe letterbox as we were too early to be personally greeted. The car was as hired and damage free. To my horror I received an email about a week later pupprting to show damage on the car caused by me. I have spoken to customer services and emailed in photographic and video evidence to support the car was fine when returned but all I get is radio silence. The charge they have made to my credit card is fraud as far as I am concerned and if now refunded very soon, I will report to the police.
