[LAPSED] Charged for damage to the car hire that was already there

Complaint against Goldcar

I picked up my car at Alicante airport. In doing a thorough inspection I noticed some scratches & damage to the offside wing! I went back in the office to inform the reception who in turn made a note on the form. I also took photographs with the time & date as evidence! On returning home a few days later I received an email to say I have been charged €260 for the damage! As you can imagine I am extremely angry that I should be paying for something I didn't do. I have sent goldcar the evidence & they are still refusing to refund me the money!! I will not let this lie, I will get the police involved if I have to. Please do not use goldcar, EVER!!!!!!

There is no understanding, this is fraud! I reported the damage before I used the car so you were aware it wasn't me therefore why would I report it on my return! I also sent you photographs with the date & time they were taken to prove they were there before I drove the car! If this is your way of making money then you should be discusted with yourselves! Again I will not give up!
