Charged for Insurance Despite Declining It

Complaint against Goldcar

I booked a car from Goldcar in Palma Mallorca on 20/8/16. On collection the Goldcar representative offered me insurance which I refused stating I already had a policy. They asked to swipe my credit card to cover any deficiency in fuel upon return of the car which I agreed to. They hand you a PDA with a blank screen to sign and then superimpose your signature onto a digitally created agreement which they then put into a folder and hand to you. I returned the car at the end of the hire period unmarked and with a full tank of fuel, and on return home found that 115.66 Euros had still to be refunded from the deposit. On contacting Goldcar I was told that this was for insurance, the insurance that I had refused. Following protracted correspondence with Goldcar Customer Services they are maintaining that I've had the benefit of the insurance so will not reimburse me;
