Complaint against Goldcar
On 16 July I rented a car from Goldcar Granada. At the point of rental I refused to pay the deposit of 1100 euros and paid 260 euros instead which included full insurance and deposit of 117 euros. I later discovered that the amount of 1360 euros was frozen on my debit card by godlcar. After contacting customer services I was reassured that Goldcar made a mistake and they should not have withdrawn 1100 euros. Goldcar claimed on the phone that 1100 euros was refunded to me the same day. However, 6 days later I still have not received the money in the bank. I filled in an official incident form and sent Granada Goldcar an email with screenshot of my bank statement. What can I do next?
