[LAPSED] Ripped off despite the presence of Super Relax Cover

Complaint against Goldcar

Misleading and fraudulent, to say the least about this company. I rented a Peugeot 108 from the Gold Car office in Malta International Airport. Rental occurred for the period of 14-19 September. The contract number is 12444534, a copy is attached to this message. After being pushed Super Relax Cover, I was not given a new contract. Furthermore, upon returning the car, the parking attendant saw some damage, which he agreed was caused by the previous renter. Still, he took 1150 euros in cash as a "procedure". We were now told that the super relax cover doesn't cover anything! Oh, before someone mentions the police report and 1 hour rule, we called them as soon as we spotted the damage, and were told that"as long as you have super relax cover, you don't have to worry about anything". What a total joke.
