[LAPSED] No refund when cancelling cover after 5 months

Complaint against The AA

Had paid for years cover on 31st Jan and have since purchased a new car when I asked to cancel membership been advised there would be no refund who do I complain to .

Hi Fiona, unfortunately the terms and conditions states that there's no refund for membership outside of the 14 day cooling off period on an annual policy. We can give you the option to freeze the membership for a number of years so you can re-start the remaining time of your cover when your current vehicle cover ends.
