Discrimation and unsatisfactory service

Complaint about Ryanair

Part one: I am a non EU spouse of a UK national travelling to Spain with my EU family without a visa under free movement of EU national flight FR2083 from Birmingham to Madrid 23/8/2016. On the ticket it says you must go to visa check. We arrive at the station via the metro pass through control and waiting in waiting area. The flight was late by almost 30mins and I was around 30 of more than a hundred to check in behind my family who had check in with their uk passports. The person at the tilt send me to his collegue to check my foreign passport. She openly put it aside and said let me deal with the red passport first. I was seen to last just to be told I had no visa and should have gone to check in first. I presented my UK family and proof of relationship guaranteeing or visa free travel. The captain rang for the flight was late. She said one person left ignoring my family. She rang her supervisor and said " costumer had no visa and his residence permit does not state family member of EU national. Again I presented my original married certificate and information on my phone waiving the visa requirement. She told her supervisor I have a photocopy and was advice we need a visa. When question she said. They have to take us to immi( swize check in desk )and if they are wrong the will put us on another flight the same day. At immigration she was wrong but the airline could not stand to their promise. They offered us another flight in Manchester for the 23/08 no means of transport no accommodation. I asked why was my uk family refused to fly a contradictory statement was given that they refuse. The truth is they said we not me could not travel. I asked why I at checked in the staff did not checked my passport put push me last on the queue no anwser was given. Their answer was I did not check in at the immigration with my foreign passport prior. I asked where was this because I checked on entry I check in on line and was expecting the final check at the desk. Just to be told as we came in via metro we should have gone to the ground floor for this service. Nothing is mention on the ticket except check in at luggage centre that we did not come across on our entry route more to that we had only our hand luggage as advice by airline. Nothing to check in. Not only did we have the right document. We were mislead by the information provided by Ryanair and running late and being discriminated on the queue we lost our flight and the airline did not cater for the next journey as promise. We lost our holiday booking and we don't even know where we will be sleeping tonight.
