Complaint about Birmingham Airport

After arriving at Birmingham International Airport on the 22/8/16 on TCX 4119 my wife and I were subjected to a wait of 1 hour 15 minutes for our luggage. 3 flights from other destinations that arrived after our flight received their luggage while we waited .One flight actually used the conveyor belt allocated to our flight, which we actually thought were our bags when they cleared we waited again . A number of passengers went to the information desk to ask what was going on myself included we were greeted by two staff members who said they would phone and enquire to the problem .They had no response from the number they were ringing ,we asked to see a person of authority to be told there is no one senior on duty .A few passengers were irate at the reply's given by airport staff and their attitude was not helpful at all. They gave the phone number to the passengers and told them to ring it ,they passed their problem to the passengers unbelievable, 4 passengers rang the number but nobody answered. I returned to my wife who was stood by the conveyor we had been waiting for an hour stood in high temperature's , tired and annoyed .I noticed in front of me a young woman passenger with 3 children ,one was knelt on the floor being sick and obviously in distress she was trying to clean him up and the airport floor with wet wipes behind her were stood 5 Border Agency staff not doing anything but watching what was happening and did nothing to ask if she needed help .I am appalled that no one except other passengers who she did not know assisted her when Airport employee's stood watching .This reaffirmed to me that the whole situation showed that we as customers of Birmingham International Airport were not valued as such we were treated as though we were inconsequential and a problem that would be resolved with the passing of time[a long time]. After 1 hour 15 minutes our bags arrived ,no apology as you can imagine a lot of frustrated and angry people left the airport ,a lot of people who had Taxis waiting ,a lot of people out of pocket as regards car parking charges . Why haven't the Airport got some staff that can relate to frustration when these things happen ,Why haven't the Airport who have empathy towards passengers who have medical problems like the woman with her child ,instead of turning the other way. I am very disappointed in Birmingham International Airport ,your not slow in charging astonishing amounts of money for your in house food but sadly lacking in customer problems caused by your staff
