Complaint about DPD

In 2014, it took DPD over a week to deliver a 'next day delivery' bed (while I slept on the floor). I swore I would never use any cpompany that used them for delivery again. Unfortunately I ended up ordering from a company (Frames.co.uk) that use InterlinkExpress (which is DPD under another guise). So once again, I took a day off work to wait for the parcel. I was up at 8am, got a text saying my parcel would be delivered between 1030-1130. I sat dutifully at the window looking down on my car-park, next to my intercom-phone and at 1048 got a text saying they had tried to deliver but no one was in. No van; no delivery man; no buzzer. Ah! But I go online and see a picture of buzzer buttons (from when I have no idea). I live up 3 flights of stairs; delivery men always moan about humphing up them - but everyone except DPD manage to. I call the helpline (at 5p pre minute) and am put on hold by Karen for an extended time; I am told it will be re-delivered after 3pm (exactly as I was told 2+ years ago about the bed) and at 4.58 I call the office to be told it is closed. At 8pm it still has not arrived. I then go online to arrange pick-up from a Pickup Shop. Great - there is one 5 minutes away; but can I arrange that online? No. Utterly useless company.
