I joined match.com on 8 February 2016 for a six month period. At the time I did not realise that they would automatically deduct a further payment after another six months. I did not keep a specific record of date I joined and only realised that six months had passed when I went and checked my credit card statement. By this time it was the middle of August. I ignored all correspondence from them after this date and somewhat naively thought that my membership would just lapse. I then cancelled it, although I am unsure of the exact date to be honest. Anyway my credit card statement has just arrived and I see that there is a deduction of £59.94 on there for membership renewal. I did not authorise this to happen. I have tried to contact them via the website but I am going around in circles. I have tried to get in but because my account is cancelled the email that they say has be sent does not arrive. As such, I would like to get my money back, but I have no effective method to achieve this. Regards, L.J.Holley
