Complaint about Hotpoint

I received notification last November that my dryer might be at risk. I checked and found that it was not. I also asked a visiting British Gas Engineer to check and was told it was ok.A fortnight ago my tumble dryer stopped working and a British Gas engineer came to fix it under their Home Care scheme. He informed me that he was not allowed to fix it until it was modified as it was one of the at risk machine. I checked again and that was true.. I NEED A REPLACEMENT MACHINE. I RUN A HOLIDAY LET BUSINESS.I ALSO FEEL THAT IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT PEOPLE CHECK AGAIN EVEN IF THEY HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT IT WAS SAFE BACK IN NOVEMBER. I CANNOT CONTACT BY LIVE CHAT, THE COMPUTER SYSTEM HAS BEEN DOWN FOR 3 DAYS and the telephone staff tell me that I will hear nothing for about 12 weeks. I presume that Hotpoint will pay my Launderette drying receipts I URGE EVERONE TO CHECK YOUR MODEL AND SERIAL NUMBER AGAIN.I have bought Hotpoint products all my married life and am very disappointed.
