Complaint about Yodel

I recently ordered a VAX cleaner from the VAX site. I was told that it would be delivered on the 6 September 2016. as there are two parts to this order there are two parcel numbers. the first number was delivered at 5:50 after being told that it would be here by 2pm at the latest. by a delivery driver who was still clearly at home from the noise in the background. Where he told me that the second parcel would be with me no later than 9pm. This was unacceptable so i rang the local Yodel delivery centre where I was told that the second parcel had a hold placed upon it, when asked why he said that he did not know. He agreed to have the parcel sent out to me the very next day before 12pm. On ringing to check the time of the delivery i was told by another person that the parcel would be with me in between 3:30pm and 9pm. this is unacceptable as i have now lost work to the amount of £200, waiting for this parcel as i am a freelance tutor, It now looks like I will be losing yet another £100 waiting for this parcel to come this pm. I was told that if I was not in to sign for the parcel the driver would ask some one else in my street to sign for it again unacceptable. needless to say i wont be using them again,
