received a debt collection letter for £153.60 for goods neither wantd or received

Complaint about Goldman Reeves

To day I have received a debt collection letter for £153.60 from Goldman Reeves on behalf of Ultra Power Cleanse & Ultra Keytone Plus. I believe this is a scam as I was foolish enough to be sucked into a so called free trial of these products in July2015, When I received the items I contacted them to say I did not wish to keep the goods as I suspected it was a scam I returned the items to Spinzar Labs in Milton Keynes and until today (12/09/16) thought no more about it. Have tried ringing Goldman Reeves to dispute this but unable to speak with anyone as it is a recorded message and only option available is to make a payment which is not what I want to do. The letter states that I have 30 days from the date of the letter which is 26/08/16 to dispute the claim or they will assume the debt is valid. How are you supposed to do this if no contact by phone or email and the address on letter is a PO BoX . Very frustrated and also worried that bailiffs will come to my home. to collect a so called debt that I do not owe

I received from them Friday night (proof its American) an email suggesting that my ''case'' has now been dropped. Its the standard response, anybody who challenges, gets the ''case'' dropped. Of course many just pay up front, thats the scam, and they then have your banking details. The debt letters in the US are EXACTLY the same as the letters we have all received. Dont fall for it.
