I looked on their website for a B&B in Sandown Isle of Wight back in May 9th 2016 I didnt finish a booking with the Lyndhurst B&B ( I have an email to prove this ) as I changed my mind on having a family room so I booked another one Belmore with B&B .. I had no confirmation or contact with the owners of the Lyndhurst until the day I checked in to the Bel more on the 2/9/16 ..it was my nieces wedding and I booked 2rooms for 2 nights .. I had emails and texts from the Belmore and they got me ferry crossings at a discount yet not a peep fro the Lyndhurst .. I've given booking .com all my emails regarding the unfinished booking and after a lot of emails they offered me £20 compensation which is ridiculous as I've lost £100 on a weekend which was very expensive already .. They haven't responded to me since the weekend and seem to have chosen to ignore my emails .when I've rung to speak to there complaints dept I'm put on hold for ages and still not put through I have tried to speak to a supervisor but to no avail ! I feel they should not have passed on the eliged booking to the B&B as it was not confirmed ! I totally understand that the owners had booked out a room for 2 nights and would have trouble booking it out with such short notice, but she did get my mobile umber from Booking .com and my Visa card details which I'm furious about ..she should have rung me to confirm if I was coming or not as she wouldn't have heard from me since May as far as I was concerned I never made the booking
