Mis leading promotion advertisement of accommodation

Complaint about booking.com

I booked a BOOKING.COM recommended a family package at the St Georges hotel Wembley for x2 adults and x1 child aged 5. the advert said they offer recommendation for my needs and advised a booking for a perfect family booking of x2 room (x1 deluxe room and x1 executive room for family booking). A special where you book the two rooms together. when arrived at the hotel the child's room was in a different part of the hotel. I challenged Booking.com who said we (family should take the Booking as its not refundable) I advised that It was illegal to leave a young child unsupervised and that the booking was clear in its request for accommodation for a family of 2 adults and a 5 year old child. The hotel offered to let the family stay in a standard double room with a cot, but wanted to charge the same price as the two rooms booked at £139 each totalling 278..when they were challenged on price I was advised that they no longer have rooms where the x3 family compliment and so we as a family cannot stay at the hotel and loose all monies; as non refundable. the hotel has no adjoining rooms and so the ability of the hotel has been mis sold as they have no provision and no return of funds or other options offered
