Complaint about Furniture Village

We ordered 2 sofas from furniture village 11 weeks ago at an expense of £3660 had no confirmation of when it would arrive. I chased them as we was going away on holiday and told it would be in around 29th Aug I then chased again on 29th and was told it was in if I wanted to call the distribution team to arrange delivery, was told they would deliver on 7th sept which was ok. I then had to chase them to pay the balance, which I couldnt do on a different card to what the deposit was paid on (not explained prior) the sofas came on the 7th as planned. The drivers damaged the lounge door frame getting them in and scuffed one half of one of the sofas. The first one went together and looked great. The second one had only half of the feet and no joining bolts. The driver wrote an email to the store while with us explaining this and said the manufacturer would send them missing items direct to us and I would have to assemble myself (not a problem but not expected when you pay that sort of money) I chased the store the next day to see what was happening and they explained I had to call after sales to sort, I did so and the call handler told me he would sort it and keep me informed of what was happening. I hadn't received any response from them after a couple of days so I called the after sales team again to be told it was nothing to do with them and I should call the store, which I did and they told me they would sort it and get back to me, they called me back later that day leaving a message saying the feet we have are right and we don't need anymore or bolts, I called back (angry by now) I explained how the sofa was, and said I would go into there showroom and take the feet of there's and joining bolts and leave them with a sofa like I had in my lounge. The salesman said leave it with me for 1/2 and hour and he'd call back, he did and said the feet will be with you friday(gone) as you can guess they didn't arrive so I called yet again and he said they had been delivered to my previous address and would be with me Monday, we waited in again all day as we want to just get back to normal now, and yet again nothing arrived so I called again today and had to get very angry saying I would go down there and not leave until I had my property but they assure me the feet a joining bolts will be here Thursday this week. I don't hold my breath and think it is discussing how they have done nothing without being consistently chased which has took the pleasure of getting new sofas out of the whole experience. At no point has anyone apologied and offered to compensate us for our distress. Regards Nick shaw
