LANDLINE NOT WORKING FOR 3 WEEKS!

Complaint about BT

Having repeatedly reported a failing landline numerous times and having had an engineer visit only once. BT have failed miserably in a) providing a service b) solving an ongoing issue adequately c) shown negligence and caused severe inconvenience and stress. the landline in question has now been uncorking for 3 weeks. my father who lives at the address permanently is 83 years old and his phone is his ONLY communication to the outside world! he has been more than patient in this situation, however i am now making a formal complaint on his behalf to state that he will not be paying his bill as he has not been provided with a service and has been left unable to make a call or receive a call for what is an unacceptable amount of time. BT have shown no service in fixing the fault and its appalling that they should get away with charging my dad for such shoddyness. his health is not good and he has been left and this has caused him a lot os stress as well as inconvenience. BT are failing the public and charging for an apocalypse of an excuse for a 'service' - J Graveson
