DPD driver lied about attempted delivery

I've waited in all morning for a new phone from my insurance, only to receive an email at 11.45 saying DPD have attempted delivery but will try again tomorrow. I tracked my package and it says online that nobody was in to sign for it, and a supposed picture of my calling card location (which was a picture of nothing) Now I can't get my package until tomorrow, my guess is driver couldn't find my property and has lied. So obv I'm concerned as to what will happen tomorrow when they 'attempt delivery' again. Extremely disappointed. Another day without my phone through no fault of my own- and wondering why dpd employ dishonest drivers, as I've seen a few similar complaints.

And after dpd confirming my second attempted delivery would be before 10.30am today, I've just been emailed with delivery slot of between 11 and 12. More time wasted, rubbish service!
