Lost my custom forever

Complaint about Hotpoint

I was one of the customers that was offered a new Hotpoint Tumble Dryers in replacement for my existing tumble dryer that needed an update as they were identified as being a potential fire hazard. The offer was due to the massively long waiting list for the updates to take place and the replacement cost over £100 for the privilege! We have been using the new tumble dryer for months now and in short it is diabolical!!! It has caused so many arguments in our household because it takes sooooooo long to dry anything. My daughter went to work today with damp clothes because despite drying the clothes (6 items) on a drying cycle twice, they still weren't dry. I am not going to give Hotpoint the satisfaction of putting me on their ENORMOUS repair waiting list. I am going to buy a new superior brand. And I don't mean superior defined by price,I mean superior defined by performance backed up by good reviews and I am never going to buy Hotpoint or any brands that fall within the Hotpoint umbrella brands! They have lost a loyal customer!!!! Very grumpy ex Hotpoint fan :(
