Product Support AG Unauthorised payments

Complaint about Currys PC World

I have had £5.50 going out of my account monthly since May, totalling £49.50. I hadn't noticed it until this month, and after looking online have realised this is related to a purchase of a washing machine in April. I specifically said I didn't want any aftercare package on this product, as it was under warranty anyway so was pointless. I have no record of authorising any sort of care plan, I have no paperwork pertaining to it. I am putting block on any future payment, but would like to be refunded. How does this not amount to fraud? Using card details to take payments without authorisation? Judging by the quick bit of research I did online it seems to be happening very regularly.

So how is this going to be resolved then? Because I am down nearly £50 on something I stated I did not want, so from my POV you have been taking money from my account fraudulently. I'm not sure how else you would describe the situation - "do you want aftercare?" "No." "Well I'll sign you up anyway and not tell you."??

I'm sorry Elizabeth but as this payment appears on your original receipt and each monthly statement thereon, we are unable to refund any previous payments. - Marcus
