Issue with the m - Ticket

Complaint about Arriva

I got onto bus 38 from Crewe bus station travelling to West Heath Shopping centre on the 31st January 2017. I showed the lady my Student Spring Term m - ticket on my phone and said I need a 'student bus pass' with me. However, I've never owned one of these before neither have I been asked to show one while using the m-ticket. The lady is a fairly new driver who came across as rude and very impolite. Prior to this journey she also didn't stop at Crewe Business Park when I pressed the 'STOP' and instead stopped at B&Q, making me late for a lecture. I would like to know if having a bus pass as well as an m-ticket is a new thing.
