Having switch from DD to pay as you go meter in Aug 2013, as there management of my DD account was consistently incorrect, I move to a pay as you go expecting a fool proof way of paying for my energy Seems I am the fool as when I closed my account in June 2016 they sent me a final bill for £100 which I contested end of September 2016 after numerous calls complaints and them threatening me with CCJ etc, they agreed they didn't know what the bill was for and closed my account with a zero balance!! Just what I wanted and expected But oh no in there wisdom Npower put six negative markers on my credit file, without even informing me! Went to ombudsman who agreed I had a shortfall in service and offered a apology letter and £50 compo from.Npower which I've refused as need my credit correcting!! Currently in process of aquring legal advice Any advice would be welcome Mark , Huddersfield
