Complaint about DPD

I ordered a product from boots and paid for next day delivery as i needed it the NEXT DAY. DPD text me saying they were going to deliver it and i also got the option of choosing who my delivery got delivered to. I requested it was sent to any one of my neighbours as i didn't know who was going to be in. I then got another text from DPD the day of my delivery to say it hadn't been delivered as no one was in, but they only went to my house not my neighbours? Is there a lack of communication from DPD to their drivers as this is the second time it has happened now?!
