Complaint about Xercise4Less
In November I spoke to a member of the Burnley branch to let them know that I will need to cancel my membership because I cannot attend the gym anymore. The member said ok, I waited for the next DD to be collected and then cancelled my direct debit. As far as I was concerned my membership was cancelled. In January I started to received letter from Harlands saying that I am in arrears and an admin charge added because they could collect my DD. When I rung the Burnley branch, a gentleman said that I had been advised wrong as all cancellations had to be done via online, however if I spoke to sales team they necessarily don't know this so could have given me wrong information. He then passed me onto head office who haven't been answering their phone. What shall I do, as i've got Harlands on my back and Exercise for less refusing to take any responsibility?
