Go Groopie Limited, I am writing to complain about the quality and workmanship of the Massaging Hula Hoop Exerciser I purchased from you, which arrived today. It is certainly not of merchantable quality. It took a lot of effort to close the 2-part cases round the magnets, and then to force them into the holes in the sections of hoop - all of which were badly cut and too small to take them without enormous pressure. Then, once I had managed to load most of them, after about an hour of trying, it became clear that there were not enough of the transparent halves to make the last few balls for the remaining section of the hoop. To fill the 6 slots there were 9 of the white plastic halves remaining, but only 3 of the transparent ones. Nevertheless, I tried to connect the sections of the hoop, but these too were very hard to insert, and while struggling to twist one section into another, some of the balls came to pieces. However, once the sections were assembled as evenly as possible, I tried to use the hoop (and I am an experienced user of a normally weighted hula hoop), but as soon as I started, some of the sections fell apart. I therefore request a refund of the full price of the hoop (£5.99) plus the postage and packing (£3.99), making a total of £9.98. In addition, I consider your marketing misleading, as you suggest there is a 'coupon' to cover the cost of postage and packaging - but this 'coupon' has to be purchased separately. I look forward to hearing that the sum of £9.98 has been returned to my PayPal account. As a goodwill gesture I would also appreciate an additional £10 compensation for the time, effort and frustration spent in trying to assemble this faulty product.
