Complaint about Harveys Furniture
Hi my name is Daniel stent. I have had on going issues with my order. I will start at the beginning. On the 24th of July 2016 I purchased a three seater and two seater electric reclining sofas in the Taunton branch. Fast forward to November and the the sofas are delivered. After the set up of the sofas the delivery men inform me there is a electric transformer missing. This part is essential to the recliner working. The delivery men call the office to let them know the situation. We are informed the part has been ordered. They leave and the waiting begins. I contacted the customer service team several times chasing down this part. In many different ways I was told it was being ordered and coming from overseas. After many hours wasted on the phone chasing this part three months have past. Yesterday 8th Feb 2017! The part finally arrives. I unpacked the item and to my disbelief there are no cables to connect the transformer to the sofa or socket. There should be a mains power kettle lead and a y split cable to supply the sofa. I have phoned up customer services to be told I have to wait three to five weeks for the parts. They said they are in the U.K but can't be if it's gonna take this long. I am still paying each month for goods that I have not received. I should be in titled to some form of compensation as I am paying for something that was sold to me and not working still after 3 months. I feel so let down by harveys.
