Complaint about Xercise4Less
I signed up for 12 months contract in branch and paid up till the last month december then cancelled the DD. I later got a letter from Harlands stating that I owe 69 pounds. when i called I was told that my membership has not been cancelled and administration charges of £25 was added to each month which totalled 67.98. I explained to them I signed up 12 months contract which ends in December and the lady I spoke to said it will not cancel until I fill out their online form for cancellation as this was in their terms and condition online(of which i have read but not found stated anywhere online). paid off the outstanding charges plus reinstated my DD.Had fill out a cancellation online but still have not recieved any confirmation for the form submitted and I have tried calling both Harlands and xercise4less, I have been told to wait 30 day before any confirmation is sent. I believe this is a terrible customer service as if an online submission is made there should be a confirmation email to show receipt of this form. when i signed up all I had to do was fill a one page form in branch and now to cancel I have to go through all this hassle, their customer service is rubbish, not helpful at all all they do is repeat the same statement over an over again to wait 30 day for confirmation of account cancellation. I will not even recommend their service to my enemy!
