Complaint about Parcel2Go

i sent a well wrapped (bubblewrap and sterofoam) it was never alive, dead or contain ivory (items on the prohibited list) i took out insurance to be on the safe side. when it was delivered it arrived broken, my client sent me pictures so i refund the cost of postage and the ornament (totalling £5.80). on filling the application in they asked for the value of the ornament which i filled in as £5 expecting the ornament to reach this amount on ebay at the time. while i accept that the cost of postage left me without profit from the item, postage cost £5.81plus i have ebay fees, it upset me that they were offering £5 as a goodwill gesture as my item was on the prohibited list according to them. when i complained saying my item wasnt on the list as it was never alive, dead or have ivory they withdrew the offer. i paid for insurance, the item arrived in an unsatisfactory condition therefore i should be entitled to £5.80 which is what i received from the customer plus ebay fees (paypal refunded their 40p). ebay will be charging me for selling as the item sold even though i had to refund. its the term goodwill gesture which is annoying as it is a genuine claim against the insurance no goodwill is involved. if it is then they need to look at the policy. kind regards
