Complaint about Arriva

I don't usually use buses so wasn't sure of the fare. Whilst waiting for the bus which was not due for another 30 minutes, I went online to check. Not having change and seeing it was possible to buy a ticket online, I tried to buy one. I had to enter my personal details which I didn't see the point of, I had to create an account, again didn't see why that was necessary, and then I had to download the app. I had to clear space on my phone because it was about 45 megabytes. After 20 minutes of this the bus arrived - early. I couldn't get on the bus because I didn't have a ticket. The bus driver offered to drop me off at the depot to sort it out. I wouldn't use a bus again and glad I have a car.
