Complaint about Warren James

Dear sir/madam, I recently took my partially sighted farther shopping in Salisbury, which where we found and went into the warren James store. This was the 10th February at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. My dad was looking for a valentines gift for my mother and obviously being partially sighted he wasn't to sure what he was buying. He had my help and did explain to the employee that he couldn't see very well. Not once did she say that they had a no refunds policy. Obviously it came to Valentine's Day and my mum couldn't wear the necklace because she'd had an allergic reaction to the metal. I've gone to take it back because I paid for it with my card and I get told that they can only give me a gift card of the value or what I spent this is obviously not of any benefit because anything she wears from the store brings her up in a rash which if we had known and was told at the time of purchase that I couldn't get my money back I wouldn't have bought it in the first place. Also to be told she can't have the money back to spend on something she can actually wear wasn't very helpful either.
