Today I discovered how to access my O2 online bill and had noticed that I have been charged for more than my contract. Initially I assumed I had gone over my contracted data, minutes or text allowance so I called O2 to ask. I was informed that a company had been taking TWO lots of payments from me WEEKLY since January 2016, this has racked up to £420 in total. O2 gave me the company name and a link where I could apply for a refund. I have had absolutely no record of this as I have never received a text from them, hence my surprise to find out a company was taking money from me at all, but I have been getting charged as though the texts have been received. I have emailed the company requesting a full refund to be told that they will only refund a month's worth of payment (baring in mind I have been charged TWICE weekly from them)... £36?! £36 out of the £420. I have no understand how they even got my number to begin with, nor do I even know what they payments are for as I do not sign up to online things. Absolutely disgusting to see that they are taking so much money from a number of people without any consent and I hope that myself and anyone else in my position can receive a FULL refund.
