Complaint about Easylife
I ordered 4 items on 6 Feb 2017 in the belief that they would be delivered within 5 working days which I thought quite acceptable.£39.97 taken 6 Feb, £7.99 taken 8 Feb, £19.99 taken 15 Feb. Emailed twice 21 Feb - no response and so had to telephone 23 Feb to ascertain when order would be delivered. I was advised that it was currently on their picking list but could not give me any indication as to when it was likely to be delivered. This was unacceptable as they had taken my money. Therefore, I informed that unless order received by me by noon the following day I wished the order to be cancelled. The response was that I could not cancel any order that was on their picking list. I informed that this was not the case as they had failed to deliver. They refused to accept my cancellation instruction. Email received 23 Feb from Customer Experience Team apologising and stating that order was on picking list. Order not received 24 Feb and as my account still showed still on picking list sent in cancel instructions electronically and requesting refund - company does not acknowledge anything over web. On checking account evening 24 Feb account shown as complete. Sent electronic message via web site telling them order cancelled and refund awaited. Order will not be accepted. Hopeless service and I wish that I had looked at this site before ordering as I would never have entertained this company.
