October 2016 ordered a new 3 piece suit told delivery would be January 2017 (3 months) whilst we were not happy about this three months wait we accepted this. because we now had booked a holiday in January we advised the local Harvey's store we could not accept until after 23rd January 2017. received a text 30/01/17 your order is now in our store everything all ok. A second text received which confirmed order all ok. 09/02/17 third text, your order will be delivered on 14/02/17 between 12.00 and 19.00hrs Now advised local council to collect our old 3 piece suit which they did promptly on the 14th February 2017. BUT no delivery of our new suit, on the following day contacted customer services they say because of a mix up order won't be delivered until 28th February 2017. told that this is not acceptable as we have no furniture because we advised the local council to take our suit away having received your text informing me that you would deliver on the 14th. complaint to the shop we had placed the order and manager states that because of system failure our suit was not removed from the warehouse but he will try and get a better date for delivery. Manager Dave now says delivery will be on the 21st February and because we have no furniture he will lend us a couch to assist us until the new delivery. 21st February goes by no suit delivered. 28th February enquiry to customer services because I had not received any text was worried. Told delivery will now be 14th March, not impressed at all. went to shop to complain again and received a text new date for delivery now 07th March. shop manager very helpful but unable to change the delivery date . will now be six months from order to delivery if we get it watch this space?
