Complaint about Virgin Media

I have recently had my broadband installed (March 2nd). On installation, the technician arrived and only made one of the sockets live, claiming the remainder were BT sockets and could not be used. This was later contradicted by a Virgin representative on the phone. A second technician was due to arrive March 3rd (4-7pm). Having been at the property during these hours and well after these hours, no one arrived! The technician then logged with Virgin he had arrived at 7.13pm and was not coming back. This is a bold lie, as no one came during or after hours. We were kept on the phone holding for almost a total of 2 hours, disconnected twice and are still waiting to hear a response as to when a technician will arrive. Virgin Media masquerades as a company with great customer service ; within two days I have learnt that this is not true and remains a great ruse. I would advise you to look for other alternatives that are better priced and conduct themselves honestly during customer service interactions.
