Only refunded one way

Complaint about thetrainline.com

I booked a train for a meeting and the meeting was changed so I rang trainline and asked if I could change my tickets. I was told I could cancel the original tickets for £10 each way and purchase new and when the tickets were returned I would be refunded. I did this and posted my tickets back recorded delivery - a week later I had been refunded for just one way so I called, I was told the other bit was being refunded and would be in my bank in 4 days. I waited and nothing, I then started an email conversation and so far this has gone back and forth several times with the advisor saying that only one ticket was returned, they say I sent 7 coupons and 1 ticket - I didn't I sent 6 coupons and 2 tickets. I have asked for copies of the tickets they received in order to prove both portions were there but I am having no joy and just keep being told no return ticket was there - this is not a small amount it is £53.00 my incident number is 170217 - 001443. Could someone please help me!
