Complaint about Stansted Airport

On Wed 1 Mar 2017 I drove to Stansted Airport to collect my daughter and grand-daughter after their flight from Madrid to Stansted. I live in Bristol and was not familiar with the airport. I drove into the collect-passengers area at 1432 hours, for the 1430 flight which had landed early. My daughter had booked cabin luggage and should have been through customs quickly. However, the airline had put her bags in the hold, and she had to wait to retrieve them via the carousel, so this took longer. She exited the airport building at approximately 1446 and we arrived at the exit barrier at 1449 hours. I put a £1 coin into the machine, expecting to pay £3 for ten minutes parking - only to read that I had incurred A £50 EXTRA CHARGE for a waiting time of 17 minutes. In order to get out of the car park, I had to pay the £50 by credit card, and they did not refund me the £1 cash payment. THIS IS UNREASONABLE, EXCESSIVE AND BLATANT OVER-CHARGING, and I am writing separately to Stansted to respectfully request a refund.
