I ordered BT (phone, Infinity 1 fibre broadband, and TV) on the 8th Jan and was given 23rd Jan as my activation date. The services didn't activate. I rung on the 24th and was told it would activate by midnight. The services still didn't activate. I rung on the 25th and was told there was a supplier issue and I'd be updated on the 2nd Feb, I wasn't. Since then I have spoken to a lot of BT staff members, they have cancelled and re-ordered my package and my services separately to no success. On the 20th Feb I was fed up of waiting. I called and asked to cancel, the woman I spoke to at 6:20pm assured me that I wouldn't need to pay any leaving fees as I had never received my package/services. So I joined EE. Since calling BT I have received a bill for £120 as I am leaving within contract. I am refusing to pay. I have had my case taken to a 'higher level' but haven't heard anything in nearly a week. On Thursday 2nd March I missed a phone call from a BT staff member call Lyndsey, I rung back and asked for a call back, I still haven't had one despite the customer service advisor telling me I would have a callback within an hour or so. I have been without broadband or my full TV services since the 22nd January as my previous provider (TalkTalk) obviously disconnected my services on the request of BT when they took over my services. BT have now made EE move my activation date from the 7th March to the 15th March – EE are trying to find out why.
