Complaint about Ash Waste Services

In October 2016 , I looked for a new waste collection service for my restaurant starting April 2017. Via internet recommendations, I chose ASH waste service and a sales representative of the company attended my restaurant in Liverpool to discuss the contract details. I was quoted for an annual fee of £658.25 and the contract was for 1 year. However my restaurant will not be opening for business in April 2017. So I send an written request for termination of the contract. But I was billed for the sum of £831.86 for the termination. ASH claimed that the termination fee will be 40% of the total fee of the 3 year contract. I was told that the small prints behind the contract said that the contract period is 3 years unless stated. I am willing to pay 40% of 1 year contract period which I was told upon signing. But the verbal expression from the sales representative also formed part of the contract. So I suspected that the service company had deceived me to sign the contract.
