Firefly Overcharged me due to made up return time of my hire car

Complaint about Firefly Car Rental

I frequently travel to France and after a visit in August 2016 I noticed an extra payment on my credit card for £64.34 from Firefly in Carcassonne. When I checked their site they said it was for an extra days rental as the car was due back before circa 11:00am and I didn't return it until 14:00. I queried the payment as I returned the car at 08:40am and gave the keys directly to one of their employees. I also put a query in with my credit card company. I provided details including my flight which departed Carcassonne at 11:05am. I was contacted subsequently by letter from Hertz to say I failed to make a payment (ref- 00008432360). I sent them the same evidence and asked if the case could be closed. They ignored me and send further demands to which I have sent several emails asking for the status but they have never responded.
